TV Ontario - one of the commissioning broadcasters of The Polar Grail - requested a series for grade-school children that would be broadcast concurrent to the Weber/Malakhov expedition. Working through a network of Ham Radio operators and using satellite images of the Polar ice flow and weather conditions we were able to produce a weekly series that documented the explorer’s progress.

I was able to videotape school children asking the explorer’s live questions about their progress and package the interviews with maps and forecasts for broadcast within 24 hours. It was an exciting three months!
